Numerical Models and Computational Tools

Our group develops and applies advanced numerical models to study complex coastal and ocean processes, including breaking-wave turbulence, wave–structure interaction, sediment transport, seabed response, fluid–vegetation interaction, and nature-based coastal protection. These tools include open-source OpenFOAM-based models, in-house research codes, and additional commercial or open-source modelling platforms.
